The short version
This website does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, address or payment details. Payment and checkout happen on our ordering site or over WhatsApp; this site only helps you choose and shortlist. What this site does do is measure how people find and use it, and it shares some of that measurement with Google and Meta.
What runs on this site
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. Counts page views. It sets no cookies and does not track you across other websites.
- Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-K776Y7BN0Z). Records which pages you visit, roughly where you are, and which site or search sent you. It sets cookies.
- Meta Pixel (ID 1658296062003853). Tells Meta that a browser visited this site, so we can measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to orders and so we can show ads to people who have visited us. It sets cookies and shares your IP address and browser details with Meta. The same pixel runs on our ordering site, where it also records add-to-cart and completed orders.
We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising on this site itself. Our fonts are served from sufraq.com itself, so no font service sees your visit.
Your tray
When you add dishes to your tray (on the menu or with Build a Sufra), the list is
kept in this browser's own storage (localStorage, under the name
sufraq:tray) so it is still there on the next page. Only the dishes and
quantities are stored, nothing about you. It is never sent to us or anyone else
unless you tap Send on WhatsApp, which opens WhatsApp with your order
written out; that message, like any link you open, may also stay in your browser
history. Tap Clear in the tray to delete it. Otherwise it is ignored and
removed the next time you visit after seven days. The analytics and advertising
scripts listed above run on the same pages, so in principle they can read it too;
we do not send it to them.
Two other small entries live in the same storage. If you press the pause button
for moving video, sufraq:motion remembers that choice until you press
play again. And each page briefly writes and removes sufraq:probe to
check whether your browser allows storage at all. Neither holds anything about you.
How to opt out
- Use your browser's tracking protection or a content blocker. Both the Google and Meta tags are blocked by common blockers.
- Meta lets you control ad targeting in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
- Your browser's cookie-blocking setting stops these tags storing cookies. (A "do not track" setting on its own does not: none of these tags read it.)
Blocking any of this will not affect your ability to browse the menu, call us, message us on WhatsApp, or place an order.
Ordering and delivery
When you place an order on order.sufraq.com, that ordering platform collects the details it needs to deliver your food, such as your name, phone number and address. That site is operated for us by our ordering provider and has its own handling of your information. Orders placed on WhatsApp or by phone reach us directly.
